We are a newly-funded Swiss FinTech internet startup that will revolutionize a specific financial industry. Urgently, we are looking for smart, entrepreneurial and motivated web application developers with one or more years of experience in building applications on Big Data. Developer will create engaging, easy-to-use, and visually delightful design solutions that address complex user needs. Experience developing web applications with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript is required.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
1. Use modern JavaScript libraries such as BackBone.js, AngularJS, Ember.js and others
2. Maintain and expand upon knowledge of multiple languages, frameworks, tools, devices, applications, and their capabilities
3. Design and build complex applications with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and high-reliability
4. Develop high traffic web applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX and jQuery
WHAT YOU NEED:
- BTech/MS/MTech in Computer Science, Math or a related field
- Experience: We are hiring at all levels.
- Strong in algorithms and data structures.
- We are flexible on the programming language but you should be great at problem solving
- Should be comfortable with scripting, proficient in the Linux environment, and capable in SQL and RDBMS concepts
- Experience with distributed transaction-processing systems or asynchronous messaging technology is a plus
